The school cannot assume responsibility for personal items.  We encourage students to leave money, toys, cell phones, smart watches (like Apple Watches), and other personal belongings at home.  We discourage students from bringing in toys and “important possessions” unless teacher approved in advance.  All electronic games should stay at home as there is no guarantee for the safety and security of these items. If a student must bring a cell phone or smart device (watch) into school, we require that they remain off and in the student’s backpack until they leave school grounds. Items that distract students from learning will be taken away until the end of the school day or until a parent/guardian can pick the item up.
