About Our School

Dear Families,

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Lyseth Elementary School, welcome to our website. Here you will learn about the programs and services that we provide along with contact information, the school calendar, our school menus, and more!

Lyseth Elementary school has served the North Deering neighborhood since 1958. We are a K-5 elementary school serving approximately 530 students.

We offer a full spectrum of services for our students that support and enrich learning. All students have art, music, physical education and library each week. We offer special education programs that utilize a team approach to supporting students with special needs. We offer comprehensive programming to our English Language Learners and enrichment to our Gifted and Talented students. In addition, students in grades 4 and 5 receive regular instruction in Spanish.

We are fortunate to have an actively involved parent community who support us in our academic and extracurricular programs. There are a variety of opportunities for parents to contribute to the school community and we hope you will feel welcomed in doing so!

Welcome to Lyseth! We are so glad to have you be a part of our team!

Lenore M. Williams, Principal
